"I told myself I had to get an abortion."

Andie was a straight "A" student with big plans for the future. When she learned she was pregnant, she feared a baby would ruin her life. Thanks to your prayers and support, this young girl chose life . . .

Here's how Andie described her early pregnancy:

"I was so frightened I didn't even let my mother know until I was about two and a half months along. When you are fifteen . . . the first thing that comes to your mind is that horrible "A" word. That word is abortion. That is what any adolescent who is pregnant would consider. It doesn't mean it is the right thing to do, but it's a natural instinct. . . . I told myself I had to get an abortion."

However, the day Andie went to get an abortion, she learned she was further along than she thought – about four months. The doctor recommended a different center that performs late-term abortions.

Mother's Plea for Life

Andie's mom had an abortion many years earlier. She didn't want her daughter to endure that same pain. So she urged Andie to visit a pregnancy center. She reluctantly agreed.

But when she arrived at the center, she spoke with "a wonderful woman who was able to open [her] eyes." While it wasn't an easy decision, Andie chose to give her child life. Now she is overjoyed with her daughter, Jayden.

The woman – her name is Pat – adds that since their first meeting, Andie is making "good decisions for herself and her baby."

Pat said Andie agreed to share her story so that friends like you can see the difference they're making. And today Andie is proof positive that by God's blessing, you make a lifesaving difference. Thank you!
