What is the most rewarding part of your job?

I love being able to use my skills and gifts to impact others. It is especially rewarding (and humbling) to realize that even the most seemingly mundane tasks I might do at Care Net can trickle down and ultimately, and literally, save lives. I love my job!  

What is your favorite Bible verse/book/chapter/section? Why?

The Psalms are my “go to” Scriptures when life seems out of control. I can relate to the unbridled humanity expressed by David, “a man after God’s heart.” David’s words are always comforting when I am facing deep and profound struggles. His praises are pretty awesome, too.

Why are you pro life?

I am pro-life because God is pro-life. I am active in the pro-life movement because millions of people each year go against God’s character and abort their unborn children. I am challenged by the notion that perhaps these same people would have made a different choice if someone had lovingly and compassionately helped them consider a God-honoring alternative.

Where are you from? Where did you grow up?

I grew up in the O.C. and the U.K. -- Orange County, CA and the suburbs of London, England. I attended London Central High School and was afforded amazing opportunities early in life to explore the world.  

What are your hobbies?

I love to read and ride my bike—but not at the same time. I am addicted (in a good way) to audio books and have "read" over 25 books in the last year, redeeming my commute time to and from the office. Bike riding is saved for weekends when the weather is nice and my husband is available.
