Why Care Net’s Work Matters: In Their Own Words

Posted by Heather Creekmore on Sep 12, 2019 5:00:00 AM

Since 1975, Care Net has supported and sustained one of the largest networks of pregnancy centers in North America. Our mission is to provide compassion, hope, and help to anyone considering abortion by presenting them with realistic alternatives and Christ-centered support.

We envision a culture where women and men faced with pregnancy decisions are transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ and empowered to choose life for their unborn children and abundant life for their families.

But we live in a culture where popular opinion often rules the day. “Who cares what the manufacturer says about their product, I want your opinion,” is our understood philosophy. Do you like it? Did you have a good experience? Reviews matter…a lot.

So today, we’re sharing some of our favorite Facebook reviews. There’s no more powerful way to tell you about the importance of our work than through the stories of real men and women who’ve taken the time to leave a review. These real reviews from Care Net’s Facebook page reflect the life-saving work of our affiliated centers, national hotline, and church partners.

Aimee’s story: When I was 20 I was in a bad relationship and I thought that I was pregnant. I was determined to get a DNC. I was told that this wasn't the same thing as an abortion. I was told that I would not be a good mother, and that if I was pregnant my child would have no quality of life. He or she would be a vegetable due to the medications I took. I am now 32 and by the grace of God alone I can sit here and say I was 100% wrong . . . Life is beautiful. . .every life. . .regardless of how that life was physically conceived. God chose for us all to have life. . .

From Steve: The people at Care Net are incredibly helpful and professional. They truly care about each person who comes in their door. No matter what women are thinking about, there is solid, fact-based information and support. For women who choose to have their baby, Care Net provides tangible assistance until the baby turns a year old. There is a commitment here that is very hard to find in any area of life these days.

Amy’s thoughts: If you are searching for The Truth and REAL answers that you and your baby can “LIVE” with, please go to your nearest Care Net Pregnancy resource center for help. These people are volunteers who really love each young lady that comes through their doors.

They are there to help you find answers and want to hear you out. This is a major decision you are facing and making the right choice will affect your mental stability and true peace of mind when you lay your head on your pillow each night.

Jessica’s experience: I LOVE Care Net. . .The staff go above and beyond to provide information and resources to expectant mothers. They have been such a blessing in my life. I am so thankful for the support and educational resources I have received from them. There are not enough stars to give these lovely people.

Mary’s recommendation: I found out I was expecting twins and they have gone above and beyond with checking up on us, sharing prayers, praying over myself and my children, I had a terrible experience with the first OB I seen for this pregnancy because they didn't check the babies, so I ended up coming back to Care Net. They helped me realize that I am my own advocate. . .It's a very open and welcoming environment! Absolutely love them!

Jade’s story: Your organization is just amazing. Y'all have helped me in so many ways, and I can't thank you enough. My stress level about having this baby has been all over the place, but going to the classes, and having everyone's support and answers from Care Net has helped me so much!

Sunny’s summary: These people have the right perspective on life. We are intended to have an "ABUNDANT" life. And every child conceived deserves this chance.

Bethany’s experience: When I was 15 I went to Care Net and was shown love and respect from the staff. I was given a layette for the new baby and counseling. We talked about adoption verses keeping the baby. I chose to keep the baby and he is now 20 years old. That moment of crisis when my family and church was overwhelmed with worry for the baby and me, Care Net was the calm in the crisis. I went on to finish high school, college, got married and had more children. Care Net and the love I was shown will never be forgotten.

Janet’s review: I have 4 children now. I nearly aborted my 3rd. . .To be met with non- judgment and pure love is all I needed. Continuing my relationship with [Care Net employees] today has only strengthened my faith in Christ and faith in myself at being the best mother I can be. Thank you for your hard work, your love, kindness and encouraging faith and grace among families that cross your path. I really don't know where I would be without you.

The results of Care Net’s client satisfaction survey confirms these stories. Care Net pregnancy centers have a higher client satisfaction rating than that of Netflix or the iPhone. 97% of clients surveyed would recommend us to a friend.

These stories of transformation are just some of the ones made possible by the thousands of Pro Abundant Life people like you who pray for our ministry and support our work. Have you had a great experience with Care Net? Share your story, here.

Can you take 30-seconds to sign a pledge against abortion and infanticide?

Some pro-choice activists now publicly defends infanticide. As believers in Jesus Christ, we know that every baby deserves protection and that abortion breaks God's heart.

Planned Parenthood and their allies promise horrific new abortion laws across America unless we act.

Say, “I stand with other believers against abortion and infanticide."
