What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Relationships! Church to the pregnancy center. The center to the client. The client to the church. The relationships that create an atmosphere for discipleship.

What is your favorite Bible verse/book/chapter/section? Why?

Hebrews 10:24, "Consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds." Motivating others to love well and be intentional in those relationships that grow others in Christ in their prayer life, their serving and their generosity.

Why are you pro-life?

It all started when I was 18 and we were pregnant. We weren't sure what we were going to do. We went to a Dr. and he looked at us and said, "You're two intelligent young people. Why would you not want to have this baby?" When we got back to the car I said we need to get married and do this the right way. Now we've been married over 40 years with 3 kids and 5 grandchildren. Now I relate to that guy sitting in that same chair I sat in.

What are your hobbies?

Grandkids, reading, playing golf, running or hiking with my wife.

What is your favorite book (other than the Bible)? 

Love and Respect. It taught me great skills for communicating with my wife. We tease now about stepping on each other's air hose. It's where I learned about how respect affects me and now I know how to deal with it. I buy one for each couple whose wedding we attend.
