What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Working with a wonderful team of like-minded Christians who embrace the mission of saving the lives of the unborn. I feel privileged to be part of an organization that starts each work day with devotion and prayer.

What is your favorite Bible verse/book/chapter/section? Why?

But those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). It is encouragement for me, especially during life's many trials, to put my trust in the Lord and he will give me the strength and stamina to rise above my circumstances. It's a reminder to focus on God's love and grace, instead of relying on my own strength.

Where are you from? Where did you grow up?

I grew up in a small rural town in western Pennsylvania called Hillsville, which is about 45 minutes northwest of Pittsburgh. Go Steelers! I moved to Northern Virginia after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh.

What are your hobbies?

Yoga, hiking and sailing.

What is your favorite fictional character and why?

The Cat in the Hat. I loved reading the Dr. Seuss books to my children featuring the fun-loving, whimsical and mischievous character.
