What is the most rewarding part of your job?

I love knowing that God allows me to be a tiny part of His rescue mission. I'm constantly reminded that He doesn't need me, but chooses to use me in the work of sparing His creation from abortion and in sharing the Gospel in word and deed. 

What is your favorite Bible verse/book/chapter? Why?

John 15:5 - “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."

Where are you from? Where did you grow up?

I'm a Tarheel born and bred…  I grew up in Asheboro, North Carolina, went to UNC Chapel Hill and also to seminary in NC.

What is your favorite book (other than the Bible)?

Anything my children want to read to me… I love sitting with them and being the listener… everything from hearing their voice inflection, to their little voices, to the storyline unfolding.
