Louise Coolidge

Development Programs Coordinator

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Speaking and praying with our donors is what I consider to be the "icing on the cake" of my responsibilities. It never ceases to amaze me as I listen to our donor's stories and prayer requests of their faithfulness in the fight for the unborn; and, God's faithfulness to all of us.

What is your favorite Bible verse/book/chapter/section? Why?

"I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33.

Knowing that we can trust our heavenly Father to give us his peace during difficult times and knowing He has overcome the world - is just such an amazing promise!

Why are you pro life?

Psalm 139:13 "You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb." (NLT)

Where are you from? Where did you grow up?

I was born in Homestead, Florida and moved to a 180-acre farm in the beautiful Ozark Mountains when I was 5 years old. This idyllic setting was perfect in helping me draw close to God and learn many life lessons that God would later use to help me through difficult times.

Do you have any quirky nightly rituals?

Following devotions - singing a song ("My Little Blue Eyes") with any of my grown children who will join me.

Do you have any weird phobias?

"Little Miss Muffet” and arachnophobia pretty much describe me. Considering there are approximately 40,000 species worldwide, I’ve learned a great deal in my pursuit to overcome this phobia. While the Brown Recluse and Black Widow are a concern to me, Australia isn’t #1 one my list to visit because that’s where some of the world’s deadliest spiders reside. However, let's not forget – spiders do eat pesky insects.
