What is the most rewarding part of your job?

That I have a purpose. In everything I do I have the opportunity to glorify God and to preserve life. Everyday is an absolute blessing to work with the amazing staff here at Care Net. I'm typically a more behind the scenes type person, but I look forward to the moments where I get to pray and minister to others. My goal in life is to be the hands and feet of Jesus wherever I go.

What is your favorite Bible verse/book/chapter/section? Why?

My favorite verse is Psalm 37:4 - "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." As a child I took this to mean that whatever material thing I may desire the Lord will give it to me as long as I stay joyful in Him. It wasn't until I was older that I fully understood it to mean that "He will give me the desires of my heart" are really my desires being in line with what God desires.

Do you have any weird phobias?

I hate spiders. I once got stuck in the bathroom standing on top of a toilet seat because the gigantic spider was on the floor in the doorway and I wasn't about to step over him. He could jump!

Why are you pro-life?

I believe that God created life, all life! It's important to me to do what I can to protect the unborn, His perfect creation!

Where are you from? Where did you grow up?

I'm from a small town that I feel like no one has ever heard of called Sabillasville, MD. I moved to Gettysburg, PA when I married my husband in 2018.

What are your hobbies?

Baking, gardening, watching crime documentaries, skiing, and space (rocket launches) enthusiast.

Who is your favorite fictional character and why?

Lorelai Gilmore. Her character is a single mom who has to work hard to achieve her dreams all while raising her daughter. It's a seven season show and I kid you not I've seen it the whole way through at least 14 times.
