What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Knowing that I am using each day to bring glory to God by using my gifts and talents to fight against the greatest injustice of our time.

What is your favorite Bible verse/book/chapter/section? Why?

Philippians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

As a recovering over-thinkaholic, this is my life verse. I’m excessively prone to worry, so I'm known to take problems into my own hands. My surrender to Christ is a moment-to-moment white flag of losing the right to myself. Taking thoughts captive in obedience to Christ is a daily struggle and my constant prayer is that the Holy Spirit would transform my thoughts, easing a busy mind.

Why are you pro life?

Because abortion is murder (intentional or ignorantly) and murder is sin. It makes God’s top ten list. It doesn’t matter whether or not our society accepts and even condones it - it is still the act of taking an innocent life. I pray for a heart of forgiveness towards such senseless evil.

Do you have any weird phobias?

I'm deathly afraid of the who-knows-what-it-is crust/mold that collects in and around the crevices of sinks and showers. I'm also very self-conscious about the speed of my windshield wipers during various forms of precipitation, as I feel that people are judging my discernment and capability of correctly compensating for the varying rate of rain or snow hitting my windshield at any given moment.

What are your hobbies?

I love film and editing, so making documentaries and music videos are fun side projects. These are a few of my favorite things; my beautiful wife, Lissa, The Lord of the Rings, The Far Side, Pad Thai, Peeps, peanut butter, and minature elephants that don't exist (yet).
