What is the most rewarding part of your job?

The most rewarding part of my job is witnessing the growth of pregnancy center leaders--in personal confidence, in ability to do their jobs with excellence, and in devotion to the Lord. It’s a total privilege to serve them everyday! 

What is your favorite Bible verse/book/chapter/section? Why?

Paul’s letters--specifically Galatians, Ephesians, and Colossians. I love the complexity of Paul’s mind; through his writing, we get to enjoy layers of history, theology, poetry (and even jokes!) His brutal honesty, commitment to the gospel, and deep love of God is inspiring to me. 

Where are you from? 

I was born and raised in the greater Nashville area and, after years of living (and traveling) all over the U.S. and internationally, I’ve finally come home. My husband and I live with our three sons (and a scruffy dog) back in my hometown in middle Tennessee, and I couldn’t be happier about it! 

What is something people don't know about you?

I had an 8 year career as a multi-media makeup artist, working on music videos and photoshoots, live TV, corporate ad campaigns, fashion shows, and everything in between. My favorite part of that time was the collaborative nature of working on set with a production crew--it was so rewarding to experience everyone pitching in with their area of expertise to create something bigger than ourselves!
