What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Being able to help people in one of the most desperate times of their life.

What is your favorite Bible verse/book/chapter/section? Why?

Prov. 3:5&6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths." This verse takes the pressure off to figure things out for myself. If left to myself, I will make a mess of my life and I have a T-shirt to prove it! Trusting in Him and acknowledging Him, allows me to rest in the truth that He has my very best interest in mind and will not lead me astray.

Do you have any weird phobias?

Yes, do not put me in a room with a mouse, flying/crawling/walking bug or anything for that matter or somebody will find out real quick that I, no doubt, have a phobia!

Why are you pro life?

I am pro life because I believe what God believes about life; that all life, specifically human life, is valuable and everything He created is good and brings Him glory.

Who is your favorite fictional character and why?

Kermit the frog. He's been around a long time and has never aged. Now after all these years, he has reinvented himself on Facebook as a comedian. Now that's ambition!

Who is your pro-life hero or role model?

Janet Keim, co-founder of the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Tidewater in Hampton Roads, VA. God gave her a vision and she started a crisis pregnancy center with the help of a few people and very little resources. Now it's bigger than she's ever imagined and she's still very much involved in this same ministry 25+ years later.
