What is the most rewarding part of your job?

I love that I can use my mathematical and analytical skills to help people who are in need. I really enjoyed studying Economics & Business Analytics in college, but always felt the Lord pointing me toward something ministry-oriented, so I am very grateful that working at Care Net combines both.

What is your favorite Bible verse/book/chapter/section? Why?

I appreciate Solomon’s earthly search for meaning in Ecclesiastes, and how he ultimately only finds it in God. I especially like Chapter 5 where it says, “What I have seen to be good and fitting is to eat and drink and find enjoyment in all one’s toil under the sun the few days of his life that God has given him, for this is his lot [. . .] he will not much remember the days of his life because God keeps him occupied with joy in his heart.”

Where are you from?

I am originally from northwestern Pennsylvania, where my grandparents and parents are from as well. It’s a very rural area -- our house is right in the middle of the Allegheny National Forest! My parents homeschooled me and my four siblings as well as ran their own grocery store and catering business.

What is something people don't know about you?

I spent the summer after my sophomore year of college living by myself in a cabin that my grandpa built on the Allegheny River (no wifi!). I love being outside, so when I wasn’t working, I spent a lot of time hiking, swimming, and kayaking. Best summer ever.
